Hey, there fellow Twihards! If you didn’t spend your teen years obsessing over The Twilight Saga and the Twilight Cast were you even living? We all longed for an Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, or Jacob Black of our own!

Now that it’s been more than a decade since the first film was released, we’re taking a look back at even before the movie went into production...the casting. You may not be able to imagine anyone else but Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart bringing Bedward to life, but the producers were just a few decisions away from having an entirely different franchise on their hands.

You’ll be shocked when you find just who tried to take a swim in the Twilight pool. Jamie Lynn Spears, Lily Collins, and Henry Cavill were all so close to taking on the lead roles. Not to mention Robert Pattinson wasn't the only Harry Potter star to try to get in on another huge franchise! A certain Slytherin almost landed a role twice.
