Описание: It's 80 degrees in the valley on a beautiful summer evening. The tranquil sounds of crickets and Western Chorus frogs can be heard all around, as we wait and listen for our train. Running approximately two and a half hours late, Amtrak 6 finally greets us, piercing through the final tunnel on Union Pacific's Moffat Subdivision. Amtrak 7 leads the consist, followed by Amtrak 19 and of course, Amtrak 300; the newly acquired locomotive for Amtrak (Siemens ALC-42). Making its way across the nation, destined to the northeast corridor for testing, I took the opportunity to catch it and met up with railfans Longmont Railway and Longmont railfan (known on YouTube) to chase it down Union Pacific's Moffat Subdivision. Later that evening, I met up with railfan 510trackside to catch it on BNSF's Brush Subdivision. Sit back and enjoy!
