Tales of the Abyss - EX Boss 8: Cameo Team [Jade Solo/Unknown Mode/NIND]

Описание: Don't care what anyone says, this is still the best Cameo battle in the series. Symphonia's gets props for being almost as great as this one, Eternia's gets props considering its time of release, and Vesperia's gets props for dat DUB. Destiny 2's, Hearts', and Graces' were kinda meh.

Anyway, did this ages before Nebilim. I could've done the 1 Mystic Cage thing but Nebilim is ridonkulous and even all this standalone attack power isn't enough. As for the actual fight, it's a pain and a half. If this wasn't Abyss and the A.I. wasn't easy to manipulate this would be near impossible. It's really difficult for one person to try and stop all of the life bottles and time stops that get thrown around in this battle. It pays to keep a quick finger over the square button at all times, since some things you just can't stop.

I went for my usual tactic of taking down Mint and Philia simultaneously since either of them can revive the other. Getting close to Philia means risking getting hit by what has to be the game's strongest arte, Bomb Rain, which spells doom. Nanaly's also a nuisance, since she can't do anything in her own damn game yet sniped me down about dozen times. Nothing beats the time I got Philia to activate Sacred Penance (a knockdown mystic arte) from across the field only to have Nanaly to randomly activate Wild Geese from FULL SCREEN and somehow hit the small target that is Jade. At least the cameo mystic artes don't freeze the game like Nebilignation.

Then there's Reid. It's nearly impossible for Jade to bait Aurora Wall from a distance, and it spells the end of the match if you get caught up in it. Best thing to do is to take big chunks of his health and finish him with a mystic arte, but Mint will constantly be healing him so there's no point to try it early on. Props to arena-Mint for being the only healer in the series who doesn't intentionally heal herself, though Revitalize is a douche move on her part.

But there's not really much insightful to say. It's essentially hit-and-run, avoiding Philia Bomb/Bomb Rain, Explode, Negative Gate, and Reid at all costs.
