How to quickly and easily solder one of our SOIC-8 to DIP-8 SMT adapter boards. You don't need a lot of fancy equipment, just a soldering iron and a set of tweezers. To make the solder flow well you will want a good flux. While some people like the no-clean type, we prefer the water soluble type. We tend to use lots of flux and then just wash it off with water.
