Just wanted to post this since I've figured out how the GameCube Mario Party games work with their music (minus 4 since it's sequenced) through various documentation done in the past and it really being another common Nintendo format under the hood.
TLDR: this is a demonstration of custom music working in game.
Mario Party 6 and 7 use the same format, so it works with those games too.
