📝 Ingredients (Special Crispy Dosa Batter)
Raw Rice – 3 cups
Urad Dal – 1 cup
Cooked Rice – ½ cup (for extra crispiness) ✨
Water – as required (for grinding)
Salt – to taste
Sugar – a pinch
Oil or Butter – for making dosa

Adding a little cooked rice gives the dosa extra crunch and a beautiful golden color.
📌 Description – Crispy Dosa Recipe (Step by Step)
In this video, I am sharing how I make crispy dosa at home using a simple batter method.
Step 1: Wash 3 cups raw rice and 1 cup urad dal thoroughly and soak them in water.
Step 2: After soaking, add the soaked rice and urad dal to a mixer grinder.
Add ½ cup cooked rice along with some water and grind to a smooth batter.
Step 3: Transfer the batter into a bowl, cover it and let it ferment overnight.
Step 4: Next morning, add salt to taste and a pinch of sugar to the fermented batter. Mix well.
Step 5: Heat a tawa, spread the batter thinly and drizzle oil or butter around the dosa.
Step 6: Cook on medium flame till the dosa turns golden, thin and crispy.
Serve hot and enjoy!
📝 Short Process
The batter is ground smooth, transferred to a bowl, covered and left to ferment overnight.
Next morning, salt and a pinch of sugar are added before making crispy dosas.
