The Steam Locomotive Museum is a museum in Sibiu depot. Steam engines and locomotives are exhibited in the museum. Another museum with an identical profile in Romania is the Steam Locomotives Museum in Reșita, it was seized in 2016.
The museum is located near the Sibiu Railway Station
Entry is free, and is done through the same place as the Sibiu depot. You only need an identity document. Even if the access road seems narrow, you can park your car right at the entrance to the depot (destination google maps), it is a very large space.
Unfortunately, the steam locomotives are very rusty. Instead, the diesel ones are ok.
