Replacing Honda MTF with Amsoil synchromesh MTF gear oil - 8 month update

Описание: This video is a 11,000 km (8 month) follow up to changing Honda MTF with Amsoil MTF fluid 5w-30. This video covers my observation of the gear oil during winter months. I have never felt smoother shifting before on any Honda or any other car.

Honda's usually can crunch or grind in the 2nd gear. So far after changing to Amsoil gear oil I have yet to crunch, during cold starts, normal driving and spirited driving. Shifting for the most part is buttery smooth. If it continues to remain buttery smooth for the long duration, I will permanently stick to Amsoil MTF. If on a budget, again, there is nothing wrong with Honda MTF.

I have seen some people say this gear oil helped them stop a gear popping out of their Honda's. I have not faced any gear pop put issues so cannot say from personal experience.

Amsoil manual synchromesh transmission fluid 5w-30 is a direct alternative/replacement for Honda MTF, suitable for all manual transmission Honda’s.

Model shown: Honda City 5MT GM 2009-2014. Similar engine to the Honda Jazz GE8, Honda Fit.
