St Deiniol & St Marcella Church in Marchwiel is a neo-classical building built in 1773, inspired by Sir Christopher Wren.
The church features a smooth sandstone exterior with a pediment over the south door, with a Joyce clock added in 1892.
The interior is light and elegant, replastered in the original style in the 1980s. The south wall has a 1778 centre window with heraldic references to the families of Erddig House, aligned with the Yorke family vault outside the church. The church also has highly ornate and secular memorials for the Yorke family of Erddig House.
