This year, 2020, marks the 30th Anniversary of the Brentwood Imperial Youth Band from its beginnings in October 1990 as a Drum and Bugle Corps. It has developed over the years and now has over 100 members ranging in age from 9 to 25. The Band has an Open Door policy - all are welcome and no musical experience is required. An instrument can normally be provided.
Due to the pandemic all the events at which the Band was to perform have been cancelled and therefore their income has suffered greatly. Our Christmas Concerts normally raise sufficient to maintain the building and running cost and so we have changed the format this year to Online. The concert was recorded over a number of sessions giving 96 members the opportunity to perform.
