Runway Just Dropped “ACT TWO” - And It Changes Everything

It’s full-on AI / human HYBRID performance acting:
It lip-syncs your voice
It copies your motion and timing
It transforms you into any character - even non-human

No green screen. No fancy setup. Just a video of you and one image or clip to guide the look.

What’s new in ACT TWO:
Gesture control: ON/OFF
Expression level: 1–5
Works with video or image input
Handles full-body movement and subtle details, hands, face, etc

Here’s what I did in this test:
1. Filmed a short clip of myself acting
2. Took the first frame and restyled it in Supercreator.ai using “RESTYLE”
3. Sent it all into Runway Act 2
Set gestures ON, expression 3
Got back a 20-second high-quality video (took ~40 seconds)

And it worked - the result looked *shockingly real*.
Facial expressions, lip syncing, body movement - all nailed.

Then I layered in more:
Added a lion to the background using Higgsfield
11Labs for extra sound effects
Remove BG + composite/edit in Capcut

You don’t need a big crew or special gear… This is solo CREATING - reimagined.


It’s fast, it’s fun, and it gives you the power to direct, act, and create anything.

HYBRID AI/HUMAN is going to be MASSIVE IMO, now is the time to figure out how to utilize it!

Tips if you want to try it:
Keep the camera still - let the acting do the work
Use clear, styled images to control the look
Test a few versions with different gesture/expression settings
Don’t stress perfect - just experiment and see what happens
