What Are The Types Of Genital Cosmetic Procedures?

There are several genital cosmetic or vaginal rejuvenation procedures that we perform. The most commonly performed procedure is labiaplasty, but we can also perform surgery on the outer lips.

Most of the time, a labiaplasty is accompanied by a clitoral hood resection or hoodectomy. We can also perform a mons plasty, where we decrease the size of the mons area, also known as the Venus triangle. This can be done either surgically or with liposuction, similar to the procedures used to reduce the size of the labia majora, or outer lips. We can also perform liposuction on the labia majora.

Perineoplasty is another procedure we perform on the perineal area, where we remove episiotomy scars, hyperpigmented skin, and improve the aesthetic appearance of this region. In addition, we can perform vaginal tightening surgery inside the vagina.

Sometimes there may be a loss of tone, aging changes, or wrinkles on the labia majora (the outer lips). In such cases, we may perform labial puffing procedures, which involve injecting the patient’s own fat or hyaluronic acid into the outer lips.

There are also other injections we perform in this area, such as the O-shot or the G-shot, where injections are made into the vagina or around the clitoral area. We can inject hyaluronic acid, the patient’s own fat, or PRP (platelet-rich plasma), which is derived from the patient’s own blood.
