Kunagallu Betta is a popular trekking spot near Bangalore, Karnataka, perfect for a weekend getaway. The trek is relatively easy, about 5 kilometres round trip, and takes around 1-3 hours to complete, depending on your pace. You'll be treated to breath-taking views of the surrounding hills and valleys, especially during sunrise or sunset ¹ ² ³.
Getting There:
By Road: Drive via Mysore Road (NH275) to Ramanagara, then follow signs to Kunagalu Betta (about 60 km, 1.5-2 hours).
By Bus: Take KSRTC bus from Bangalore to Ramanagara, then local bus or auto-rickshaw to the base ¹ ².
Best Time to Visit:
September to February for lush greenery and pleasant weather.
Sunrise (5:30 AM - 9:00 AM) or sunset (4:30 PM - 6:30 PM) for stunning views
