First Time Hearing The Verve - A Storm In Heaven - WHAT?!

Описание: Yeah so this was one of my favorite first album listens ever to be honest. This album really just blew my expectations the fuck away. I haven't really heard anything quite like this. It was dreamy, groovy, and psychedelic at the same time, and everything came together to create one dreamy atmosphere on a lot of these songs. And I thought it was really interesting how they implemented other instruments like sax and flute on later songs on the album. They really put their own spin on it, and I really enjoyed all the effects that they used. The softness and slowness of the guitar and vocals at certain parts were just on another level but then it also had upbeat and darker tone songs as well. And then there were also songs that had both slower and higher tempo sections, and I was surprised. Richard Ashcroft's vocals on here were especially dreamy and fit the vibe of the music perfectly. They really treated everything as an atmosphere in here. I kind of want to do the rest of their discography now...
