Dubai Police have launched a new cybersecurity competition with a total prize pool of Dh223,000 to mark Cybersecurity Awareness Month this October.
🚨 Competition Details:
Dh40,000 for school students (top 3 winners)
Dh78,000 for university students
Dh95,000 for professionals
Registration opens October 1
Online qualifiers: October 5–31
Finals: October 25–26 at the Officers’ Club, Dubai
The contest, called Capture the Flag (CTF), aims to discover and attract ethical hacking talent that could contribute to future security efforts.
💡 In addition, Dubai Police launched ecrimehub, a digital platform offering:
Cybercrime education
AI-powered cybersecurity assistant
Image analysis tool to detect fraud
Weekly quizzes with prize draws
