🕰️ The Hotel's Dark History (The Legend of Elizabeth)
Built in 1908 during the Gold Rush, the Goldfield Hotel was once the most luxurious hotel in Nevada. Now, it's known as one of the most haunted places on Earth. The most enduring legend centers on Room 109, where a woman named Elizabeth was allegedly held captive by the owner, George Wingfield. She is said to have died during childbirth, and the cries of her baby are reportedly heard to this day.
