Furious that Norman sided with his half-brother Dylan and asked her to go and see her brother Caleb, Norma leaves Norman for the first time ever all to himself, sending Norman into an emotional downward spiral in which he hallucinates, has blackouts and finally channels his Mother persona to fill the void she left behind.
