The Heritage Guitar factory will celebrate 100 years of guitar building at 225 Parsons in Kalamazoo, Saturday, September 9. The factory has been known for producing some of the most highly valued guitars ever built. Orville Gibson founded "The Gibson Mandolin-Guitar Mfg. Co." in 1902, and the company moved into the 225 Parsons plant in 1917. Heritage Guitar has continued to make guitars at the same location since 1985.
