Hooghly: Central security forces carried out a route march in Champrui village under Digsui–Hoera Gram Panchayat in Arambagh, Tarakeswar, and Mogra blocks of Hooghly district. The march was organized to strengthen security arrangements and boost public confidence ahead of the upcoming elections.
During the march, personnel patrolled sensitive areas and appealed to residents to maintain peace and harmony. According to administrative sources, deployment of central forces and regular route marches will continue across the district to ensure law and order and conduct free and fair elections. Local police officials were also present alongside the central forces. The presence of security personnel has increased the sense of safety among local residents.
