This year’s State of the Parks theme is “Explore More” which calls on all residents to embrace their inner childhood curiosity and seek out new adventures in our award-winning park system where there’s so much more to see than meets the eye.
It’s a call to venture beyond the walls of our old routines and habits where the fresh breeze of inspiration blows. It’s a reminder that sometimes the some of the best rewards in life come from a little wandering.
2025 has been a year of tremendous growth for our parks and recreation system in the form of adding more parkland, improving the quality of existing assets, introducing new amenities, forging new partnerships, and launching new programs.
