Our Youth Ballet Porgram in NYC is based on good teaching practice as well as proper curriculum based development. The Youth Ballet Program follows a graded 8 year curriculum based on sound teaching practice, respect for the ballet tradition, and vocabulary starting at age 10. Each level is developed as a building block to advance a students' training in a safe and nurturing way. We create a solid core foundation and then start toa pply more difficult movement. Plus, our students get to perform twice a year which allows them to see how what they learned in class can be brought to the stage.

Students have the option of registering for either the Graded Program or the Open Program.

It's a wonderful place for a younger dancer to learn ballet!

The Graded Program students are expected to attend the required number of classes for their level. The Open Program students have the flexibility to attend fewer classes than the requirements set for each level, however, these dancers are not permitted to perform in the Fall and Spring performances.

All of our teachers have BFA's in Dance. And primarily they have BFA's in performance / teaching so they have all the child development, all the understanding of anatomy as well as dance history and the art of teaching. So they are not only spectacular teachers, they are spectacular dancers as well.
