Seal Drags Power Cord

Описание: It's been a while since we uploaded such a long rescue video. We have been spoiled with quick rescues lately, when the team catches, cuts and releases within a few second or minutes.
This seal was not so lucky, it took several minutes to remove a very tight loop of fishing line, which was entangled itself in a piece of power cord. Wally needs all his strength to hold the seal down while the others carefully pull the line out of the animal's flesh.
It's very hard to watch, it was even harder to do the rescue, but we cannot imagine how painful and scary it must have felt for the seal. We always hope that at least a part of their suffering is over as soon as the loop is cut, and they can take in their first full breath of air.
The second rescue takes less time, but is just as painful and traumatic for the animal. 🦭
