Inspired by the composer’s journey, the song reflects the emotional shift that comes with independence, self-discovery, and choosing a passion-driven path. It captures the tension between excitement and fear of the unknown, while emphasizing gratitude for the quiet, grounding forces that support us along the way including family, friends, memories, and moments that we often take for granted. Symbolized by the Akasya trees, the song reminds us that even as we question where we are headed, there are constant, beautiful things around us that makes life easier to bear with.

The music video for this song is highly influenced by the lyric video of “Kalachuchi” by Munimuni, as well as the concepts of Sia’s “Chandelier” and Kiesza’s “Hideaway.” The production aims to clearly highlight the imperfect and human aspects of making art. From the absence of a stabilizer for the videographer, to the spontaneity of the environment, and the creatively improvised choreography of the contemporary dancer, every element aligns with a form shaped and dictated by the song.

We poured our hearts into this project, making sure the final output would resonate deeply with us. We are incredibly proud and happy to share it with you! Padayon, Giliw!
