Ushering out a long NY winter today with a Guns n’ Roses tribute - “November Rain”. Thank you Kevin and crew for opening your studio doors to me once again. Today was unexpected yet fulfilling. You caught me off guard with a jam-packed room. I guess you did put the word out. The mix was just right, allowing me to move outside of my vocal comfort range into Axel’s unique nasality and vocal compression. I had to work for this one, even on the overdubbed harmony tracks and yes, I changed a few words…my stamp on it. Thanks again for the video and a hell of an afterparty. Getting my vocal self back in shape for the West Coast. TDR
