Описание: This discussion involves the 1997 film, "Eve's Bayou." In the movie, Mozelle is cursed such that all of her lovers meet an untimely end. After the death of her most recent husband, Mozelle falls madly in love with Julian, a artist who wanders in town looking for his wife who's left him. Initially, Mozelle avoids letting Julian make a commitment to her because she knows what fate he's meet. However, by the end of the film, Mozelle agrees to marry Julian, which we know will seal his fate. At the end of the film, Mozelle tells her niece, Eve, that she hopes God will be kind and let her go with Julian when he meet his end. This left us wondering whether Mozelle ever confessed to Julian that marrying her would ensure his untimely end.
