Our Polonnaruwa journey continues! 😍 In this episode, we explore the beauty of Parakrama Samudraya during the golden evening hours — the reflections and calm breeze were just magical. 🌅
Then we step back in time, visiting some of the most iconic ancient sites — Dalada Maluwa, Rankoth Vehera, and the breathtaking Gal Viharaya, where history and art meet in perfect harmony. 🕍✨
The next morning, we set out to spot elephants near a garbage collection area — but no luck this time! 🐘😅 Instead, we enjoyed a peaceful moment at Nelum Wewa, where we even plucked some Nelum Batto (lotus seeds) ourselves! 🌸💦
It was a day full of history, nature, and simple joys — the kind that make every journey unforgettable.
