We drive the Polestar 3 on Aussie roads for the first time and the demanding Tasmanian bitumen was a great test for this expensive but high-performance new model.

Priced well above $100,000, the Swedish-designed and engineered premium large SUV is the brand’s first model that truly espouses the brand’s core values of performance and sustainability.

It is positioned to take on fierce competition from German luxury brands and we reckon it might just do that because it’s an exceptionally impressive large luxury SUV with serious performance and yes, a bit of personality – which is rare for an EV.
