I went to a village rich in nature, located 60 minutes by bus from downtown Kyoto.
From the C3 bus stop at Kyoto Station, it takes about 60 minutes to reach Ohara.
Buses usually run twice an hour.
You can also take the bus from other bus stops in Kyoto City, but since Kyoto Station is the first stop, it is recommended to take the bus from Kyoto Station if you want to sit in a seat.
By train, take the subway from Kokusai Kaikan Station, change to a bus, and you will arrive at Ohara in about 20 minutes.
If you are traveling by public transportation, you will need to transfer to a bus or cab anyway.
