I asked a local ski instructor what the MOST DIFFICULT run in the whole of Tignes was. He thought that there were a couple of possibilities but given the snow conditions Silène was likely to be the hardest and he wasn't wrong. Easily the hardest piste I've skied in Tignes and quite possibly the most sustained i've done all season. It's not as committing as the Grande Coloir in Merribel and not as steep as the Swiss Wall but for sheer physical difficulty, this is for sure up there!
