Three of the best perfume tips I learned from social media.
Tip 1- Micellar water can remove unwanted fragrances from your skin. This is helpful when you try something new that you’re just not vibing with. Sometimes I feel like switching my perfume for a different occasion (or out of boredom) and this tip is useful for those time as well.
Tip 2- Perfume sample strips are actually designed for the wide end to be written on and the thin end to be sprayed. When working with raw materials perfumers use the thin end to dip in bottle and jars. At home I prefer to use the fat end because I have horrible aim and I like the larger surface area. I only use the thin ends if I have dabber sample bottles. If you’re in a fragrance store you may see them use the thin end.
Tip 3- The sprayer (atomizer) in a sample bottle isn’t powerful enough to distribute (atomize) as many fragrance molecules as a full size bottle of fragrance. To approximate the true strength of the fragrance spray 3-5 sprays from your sample.
