Learn How to Catch Tasty Saltwater Grouper Trolling!

Описание: In this video demonstration I show you how to catch tasty saltwater grouper by trolling using artificial lures and planing boards. I have attached a number 2 planer to a stout fishing rod and reel that is equipped with 80lb braid. The leader length from the planing board is roughly 12 to 15 feet of 60 to 80lb test depending on the clarity. Perhaps even more important is the juicy Mission Fishin jig heads and grubs that we are trolling. The idea is to locate ledges and structure in 20-26 foot of water and get your lure as close to the bottom without tripping the planer. The grouper hold tight to the bottom and structure. We then bump the throttle to 4-7 miles per hour depending on the conditions and we vary speeds until we starting getting strikes. As you can see in this episode, we caught several fish in a short 45 minute span with many being keeper size grouper. The use of multiple colors is important as you can tell, all strikes came on the green grub this time around, so don't hesitate to switch it up.
