Only six months of lost money was recovered from the bank due to late detection, leaving Bridges significantly out of pocket. The following period was marked by difficulties such as sexual abuse allegations and police harassment. During a house renovation, Bridges encountered a bag of white powder, leading him into drug addiction. Despite being 30 years sober, he feels continually defined by his past substance abuse. Todd emphasizes that long-term sobriety is reliant upon internal change.
