The American Iranian relations witnessed deterioration since the American president trump took over the reins of power, and the reason behind that according to analysts is US withdrawal from nuclear deal which followed to imposing economic sanctions on Tehran, the thing that made Iran reply’s by detaining a number of ships in the Strait of Hormuz in the Arabian Gulf, warning from increasing tension between the two countries that may affect negatively on all of the countries located in the region of the middle east, also they disqualified a direct war in reference to the ongoing economic pressure on Tehran by the US administration.

شهدت العلاقات الأمريكية الإيرانية تدهورا منذ تولي الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب مقاليد الحكم، ويعود السبب في ذلك بحسب محللين إلى انسحاب الولايات المتحدة من الاتفاق النووي والتي تبعها فرض عقوبات اقتصادية على طهران الأمر الذي جعل إيران ترد باحتجاز عدد من السفن في مضيق هرمز بالخليج العربي، محذرين من زيادة حجم التوتر بين البلدين الذي من الممكن أن يؤثر سلبا على كافة الدول الواقعة في منطقة الشرق الاوسط، كما استبعدوا حدوث حرب مباشرة في إشارة إلى استمرار الضغط الاقتصادي على طهران من قبل الإدارة الأمريكية.
