Now, thanks to Kia's latest generation of factory installed rear seat entertainment systems available on select Kia models, those comments will be a thing of the past. Let's review some of the key features. There are two rear touchscreen displays mounted to the back of the front seats. The home screen shows a carousel of various apps.

At the bottom right corner is a Kid's theme button that takes you directly to kids specific programming. Across the bottom are additional buttons to adjust screen brightness, home back button volume and Bluetooth wireless technology. On the side of the unit, there is an HDMI port, a headphone jack and a USB port, which allows you to play audio and video files from compatible devices. This system also plays DVDs. The Kids theme features, songs and games, plus a link to YouTube.

Kids the rear seat entertainment system operates like a normal touchscreen tablet. Use your finger to swipe left or right and touch the screen to access various apps. This system even includes Sounds of Nature, which can play through speakers or headphones.

This system also allows you to mirror your iPhone or Android. It even has an onboard user guide. Certain content available through the touchscreen displays requires a WiFi connection or a portable hotspot. While there are two touch screen displays, each can operate independently of the other. Or you can use the screen sharing feature, which connects the left and right screens so they display the same content.
