Memphis 57, Jim STewart & Estelle AXton make a studio of an old cinema, the label of STAX is born. With an attached record store, the brand records it's first hit: Green Onions by Booker T. & The M.G.’s, the first multiracial group, then continues with Isaac Hayes, Otis Redding and Sam & Dave.
I had to mute 2 parts of approximately a minute and also had to delete a part of approximately 2 minutes because, off course, parts where music of Otis Redding was in. Like all the uploads on this channel; if there is a part muted it's always because of the music of Otis Redding. Even though the man died more than 40 years ago (may he rest in peace) record company's are still hunting for sales and views on his account.
