An Air India Boeing 787 flight en route to Delhi from Vienna landed safely in Dubai after it lost control of Complete Auto system failures mid-air.

The autopilot of the Air India flight AI154 got disconnected at 2.45 AM on October 9, 39000 feet above sea level. Multiple other Auto Flight System failures were reported, including GLS, Flight Directors (FDs), Auto Throttle, Fand light Control System degradation (No Auto Land capability).

The crew was unable to re-engage the autopilot. ATC was informed, and the flight crew decided to divert to Dubai (DXB). The aircraft was hand-flown throughout and landed safely at Dubai
