Bugsy Malone The Musical 2026 FINAL

Описание: After months of dedicated rehearsals, HDS proudly took to the stage to perform the much loved musical Bugsy Malone. What began as early script readings and tentative dance steps gradually transformed into a confident, energetic production that truly showcased the talent and commitment of our students.

Hosted at The Ritz in Penzance, our musical had the perfect venue. The fabulous, newly refurbished, theatre provided a wonderful backdrop for the colourful characters and lively numbers of Bugsy Malone, helping to create a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

The cast have worked incredibly hard learning their lines, perfecting harmonies and polishing choreography. Their determination and teamwork shone through in every step of the process. All that effort truly paid off and the final performances came together brilliantly (just in time for half term!). The production included a special matinee performance for local primary school pupils, followed by two evening performances. Each show was met with enthusiastic applause and glowing feedback from the audience.

Adding to the professional feel of the production was our live band, made up of students, staff and alumni, who performed alongside the whole show and sounded fantastic throughout. Their music really brought the show to life and added an extra layer of professionalism to every scene.

Huge congratulations to all the performers, musicians and behind the scenes helpers who made this production such a success. Performing on stage takes a great deal of courage and you should be really proud of yourselves. It was a performance to remember and one we won’t be forgetting for many years!
