Anagin develops drugs that block the target mechanism of PTSD without triggering others that cause crippling side effects. Its co-founders are Anantha Shekhar of the IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis and Yvonne Lai of the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at IU Bloomington.
Anagin is a rising star within the IU Research and Technology Corp's Spin Up program. Both are part of the Innovate Indiana initiative, which engages strategic partners to leverage and advance IU’s intellectual resources and expertise, enhance Indiana’s economic growth and contribute to the overall quality of life for Hoosiers.
