Fed up with his master’s criticism, Namagem snaps and blasts Obsidian! This distraction gives Mega Man— with his family at his side— a chance to take on all of his schematics at once. As Mega Man overwhelms Obsidian with a perfect storm of replicated powers, Namagem chooses not to interfere. Defeated, Obsidian’s armor falls away, exposing his true identity… Sgt. Night! Night reveals that he wasn’t going to use the Mega Key to coerce unwilling robots into a revolution— he was going to wipe the minds of all robots so that humans could rule. Outraged, Namagem moves to destroy Night, but Dr. Light and Mega Man stand between them. Light has Mega Man open his mystery chip, revealing that Mega Man and Namagem were built as battle robots during the Hard Age. Namagem transforms into his base form— revealing that he is Mega Man’s twin— then blasts off, disavowing any kinship to his nemesis and swearing revenge against Night. Mega Man and his family agree that the time for secrets is over. Now they face the future as a family.
