A group of women in North Belfast have been creating friendships and socialising while learning how to crochet.
The Happy Hookers crochet group operates from the Grace Family Centre in Ardoyne, and was set up around 14 years ago in order to tackle social isolation by getting people out of the house and making new connections.
Aisling Mulhern from the Grace Family Centre told Belfast Live the group is invaluable and much needed, with many of the participants taking part in other activities within the centre on other days of the week too.
