Family grieves influencer shot, killed over road rage in Glendale

The family of an influencer who was randomly shot and killed in a case of road rage in Glendale is remembering her life and her impact.
Loved ones described 27-year-old Yarely Ashley Hermosillo as an incredible mother, a jokester and a caring person when you needed somebody.
“It hurts to love your other half, but when it happens in front of you and you can’t do nothing, it’s a different type of hurt,” said Hermosillo’s husband, Daniel Salgado.
Salgado said his wife’s life was just beginning as they had moved to a new apartment, and her social media career was just taking off. Hundreds of thousands followed Hermosillo’s social media accounts that focused on baking and recipes.
“She also loved sharing her passion for cooking and took pride in teacher others how to prepare delicious meals for their families,” Hermosillo’s sister, Cryshan Lopez, said.
Hermosillo was also glued to her family, making the loss that much more painful for Salgado. “I feel for my son when he lays (sic) to sleep at night and he can’t cuddle with her,” he said. “When we go for a walk, he waits to see if mommy comes out of the house like she always did.”
