World Culture Open (Cultural competition)

Описание: The World Culture Open 2004 Cultural Competition was held in Seoul, Korea. Nearly 400 artists from every inhabitable continent in the world had landed on the Korean peninsula that night, eager to share and exchange their artistic traditions and cultural heritage. This Uyghur dance(Dawanqing qizi) is the winner of the competition(Dance) highest award- World Peace award.
Dancer is Dilnar Abdulla,music is from the Uyghur folk song Qemberhan.

The main selection criterion for the WCO 2004 Cultural Competition evaluated a competitor's ability to reflect the values/ideals inherent in the word'Harmony.' Thus the cultural competition forged a new standard: to promote dialogue and to exchange cultural wisdoms as well as to value each culture's excellence and worth.
