LOUIS – Shavanna Spratt-Bailey Founder & Executive Director of Da Hood Connect and Creator & Host of Da Hood Talks Podcast talks to Brittany about her organization and an important event coming this weekend. About Da Hood Connect is a nonprofit organization connecting our communities to resources, education, and support. Their mission is toreduce barriers and strengthen community through advocacy, education, and connections. Run Da Link Up events are interactive community gatherings focused on connection, resources, and self-efficacy. Tonight, they are hosting Da Link Up Black Love Day Event Kickoff at Delmar Divine. This event Celebrates Black Joy & Black Love in our community and features panel discussions with Michael Brown Sr & Cal Brown of Chosen For Change. Plus, spoken word performance by Ailey Pope, fun activations, food & drinks.
