Our laundry setup used to mean constant trips in and out through the garage until we decided to bring the space indoors. In this renovation, I stacked the washer and dryer, moved our full-size kitchen refrigerator next to the laundry area, and even rebuilt walls and doors to make everything fit.
It worked great… until the entry got too tight. So yes, I ended up doing another renovation just to gain 20 inches—but in a small home, every inch truly matters. Watch how this small change made a big difference in our daily life.
차고에 있는 세탁기 때문에 빨래할 때마다 문 열고 나갔다 들어오고… 은근히 귀찮은 동선, 다들 한 번쯤 겪어보셨죠? 결국 세탁 공간을 집 안으로 들이기로 결심했고, 세탁기와 건조기를 스택으로 쌓고 주방에서 쓰던 냉장고까지 옆으로 옮기면서 벽과 문 위치까지 싹 바꿔버렸습니다.
처음엔 완벽해 보였는데… 문제는 출입구! 결국 단 20인치 때문에 또다시 공사를 하게 됐죠. “겨우 20인치 때문에?” 싶겠지만, 작은 집에서는 그 몇 인치가 생활의 편리함을 완전히 바꿔줍니다.
