Once again, the crowds came out for an amazing OysterFest — Mason County’s biggest annual celebration of seafood, community, and service.
Hosted by the Skookum Rotary Club of Shelton, OysterFest brings together more than 12,000 visitors, 1,100 volunteers, and over 100 local nonprofits for a weekend filled with oysters, live music, and hometown pride.
From the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championships to the OysterFunk concert and the PUD 3 Shuck & Share 5K, this event is powered entirely by volunteers — raising funds for scholarships, youth programs, and community projects throughout Mason County.
Filmed at Sanderson Field in Shelton, Washington, this feature highlights the incredible teamwork, flavor, and fun that make OysterFest more than a festival — it’s who we are.
