In this video I show a few upgrades to my Smart's stereo.
A couple months after I bought the car (earlier this year), I replaced the door speakers with the ones you see in this video (Polks DB651). This was already a huge improvement compared to the stock ones (even though now they are kind of weak compared to the rest of the system).
A few months later, I really wanted a better head unit, so I ended up investing some more money and also getting a subwoofer and the amplifier to have a more powerful system while keeping the Polk speakers. As I mentioned in the video, at this point the BD651s are probably not able to keep up with the rest of the system if I really up the gain in the amp, but my intention is to install better component speakers further down the road.
