Mrs. Perin Bagli, the Principal of Activity High School & Secretary-cum-Treasurer of I.C.S.E. Schools of Maharashtra Region gives us her take on the impact of pandemic on education sector and the future of education with a blend of technology.
In this interview she explains it’s not just the students that have to learn even the teachers have to be taught the ways in which they can aptly teach the children the innovative way. Further, she explains that post-pandemic the education sector has transformed from traditional chalk-talk to live presentation & interactive learning. Today's children are visual learners, they find this new method of learning interesting as everything is explained to them in a graphical format.
Technology is changing the dynamics of education. Teachers are using technology to replace old models of standardized, rote learning and creating more personalized, self-directed experiences for students. They are creating digital content, including animations and videos. Now not only the student but the parent also understands the true potential of a teacher. What’s interesting is that learning is becoming more virtual. We can say that virtual and physical are meeting in the middle.
