Simple bread pakoda recipeIngredients (for video shot list)����
Bread slices – 4Boiled
potatoes – 3–4 (medium, mashed)
Chopped onion – 1
smallGreen chilli & ginger – finely choppedSpices for stuffing: salt,
red chilli powder,
turmeric,
coriander powder,
garam masala,
chaat masala/amchur
Fresh coriander leavesBatter: besan (gram flour 1 cup), ajwain, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, water, pinch baking soda (optional)Oil for deep fryingSteps (ideal for 15–30 sec Short):����Make potato masala: Heat a little oil, sauté onion, ginger, green chilli, add all spices, then add mashed potatoes and coriander; mix well.Make batter: In a bowl add besan, ajwain, salt, chilli powder, turmeric, baking soda; add water to make a thick, smooth coating batter.Assemble: Spread green chutney on bread, add potato masala, cover with another slice, press and cut into triangles.Fry: Dip each triangle in batter, fry on medium flame till crisp golden, serve with chutney.
