This vlog is about day 2, resumed journey from Sharavathi Backwaters to Murudeshwar.
On the way to Murudeshwar, we halt at Eco- Kasarkod Beach followed by Kandla Mangroves.
The eco beach is certified with blue flag. It is so clean and well maintained. They have showers/ clean toilets and changing rooms (chargeable). Sharavathi- Kandla mangrove boardwalk can be visited for pre-weddings also.
The glimpse of Shiva statue from the entrance was very emotional. We missed the view from lift because it was out of service. Nevertheless, the whole surrounding, tall Gopura, huge Shiva statue and experiencing beach from height was very pleasant and peaceful.
Gadbad ice-cream is the famous dessert in Murudeshwar, must try if you are visiting.
Recommended dinner at Royal Plate Restaurant, near Murudeshwar temple. Dal Khichdi Tadka is highly recommended.
