Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by district officials, visited the flood-affected Bhavanipuram area of Vijayawada on Monday. He travelled by JCB to inspect the area.
Nearly 4.5 lakh people have been affected by the unprecedented rainfall and floods in Andhra Pradesh over the past three days, resulting in the evacuation of 31,238 people to 166 relief camps.
